Everton Sports & Community Pavilion

The Pavilion is used for a variety of village events and has recently been refurbished.  The building is warm, light and welcoming and is available to all members of the community for social gatherings. Currently it is in regular use every morning during school term time by a pre school group, other users are yoga groups, art groups, musicians and singers, club meetings, family parties and parish meetings. It is available for additional regular bookings and ad hoc bookings for childrens parties etc.

                       The Everton Sports and Community Pavilion is managed by a Committee (who are also the Trustees) consisting of 3 members elected at the Annual General Meeting  held in June each year, plus 10 representative  members and may include not more than 3 co – opted members.

Membership of Everton Community Association is free to all residents of Everton Village .

                        Funds are raised through an Annual Fete in August  which is held at Everton Recreation Ground other Events throughout the year.

Do you require transport to attend a medical appointment or need medical items collected? If so then Hordle Voluntary Care Group would like to help you. We have a team of drivers that will pick you up from home, take you to your appointment and return you to your home afterwards. All you need to do is call our Coordinator, Margaret, on 0845 388 9063. Please leave a message if she is not available to answer the phone and she will get back to you.

Please give as much notice as possible as this is more likely to enable us to find a driver for you.

We also provide transport to the ‘bathing service’ at the St John’s Ambulance HQ on the Gordleton Industrial Estate. Again please contact Margaret for more information.

We are still looking at increasing our pool of drivers and would like to hear from anyone who thinks they may be able to assist. If you can spare a couple of hours a week, at a time and day to suit you, then please get in touch by telephoning our Secretary, Ian Chislett-Bruce on 01425 614174 or by email hordle.care@btinternet.com.
