Hordle Voluntary Care Group

Covering Tiptoe, Hordle and Everton

Are you having difficulty in getting transport to your medical appointments?

The Hordle Voluntary Care Group have volunteer drivers available to take you to and from your appointments with only a small charge per mile.

We cover the local area taking people to Doctor’s surgeries, dentists, opticians and including the hospitals

at Southampton, Bournemouth and Salisbury.

We can also arrange to pick up medical items such as equipment from the Red Cross at Lymington.

                                            If you require a driver please call Margaret Maggs on 0845 388 9063.

            If Margaret is unable to answer the telephone please leave a message and she will get back to you.

The more notice you can give the better.

Call & Go is a door to door service for anyone who finds it difficult or impossible

to use ordinary bus services or live more than 400 metres from a Bus Service.

Call & Go offers a Mini-bus service from your home to the shops.

We operate to Lymington on Tuesday mornings

and New Milton on Friday Mornings.

                        Everton Sports and Community Pavilion is managed by a Committee (who are also the Trustees) consisting of 3 members elected at the Annual General Meeting  held in June each year, plus 10 representative  members and may include not more than 3 co – opted members.

Representative members are appointed in the following numbers by each of the following Organisations : -

Everton Community Association is free to all residents of Everton Village .

                        Funds are raised through numerous Events held throughout the year, including 3 car boot sales during the Summer months

                        and an Annual Fete in August both of which are held at Everton Recreation Ground.
