Are you having difficulty in getting transport to your medical appointments?

The Hordle Voluntary Care Group have volunteer drivers available to take you to and from your appointments with only a small charge per mile.

We cover the local area taking people to Doctor’s surgeries, dentists, opticians and including the hospitals

at Southampton, Bournemouth and Salisbury.

We can also arrange to pick up medical items such as equipment from the Red Cross at Lymington.

                                            If you require a driver please call Margaret Maggs on 0845 388 9063.

            If Margaret is unable to answer the telephone please leave a message and she will get back to you.

The more notice you can give the better.

Call & Go is a door to door service for anyone who finds it difficult or impossible to

use ordinary bus services or live more than 400 metres from a Bus Service.

Dial- a- Ride offers a Mini-bus service from your home to the shops.

We operate to Lymington on Tuesday mornings

and New Milton on Friday Mornings.

Boules (Petanque).

Every Tuesday and Saturday at 2.00 pm a small group of enthusiasts play boules at the Hordle Recreation Ground.

It is all about some good spirited fun.

We would welcome a few new people, be it regular or irregular (we do have spare sets of boules for beginners).
